Shayne Pasternak
Founder & CEO
Shayne Pasternak was born in Vancouver, British Columbia but grew up in California, Oregon, and Arizona. Shayne moved back to Vancouver in 2011 and loves everything this beautiful city has to offer. Shayne was first exposed to 2D floor plan drafting through his first job when he first arrived in Vancouver and he was immediately hooked. He quickly taught himself how to 3D model floor plans and complete matterport tours. With an eye for design, Shayne enhanced his drafting and modeling skills through courses at BCIT, and eventually branched out on his own to pursue his career in floor plan designs and founded Optimum Floor Plan Designs in 2015. Shayne prides himself on his ability to bring a variety of projects to life with realistic, high-quality 2D and 3D floor plans that continue to exceed expectations. He is a perfectionist and his projects reflect that.

Long distance running and any sport that involves a board (whether on snow, water or pavement). Shayne also spends as much time as possible at the beach with Riley, Optimum Floor Plan Design’s most loved team member and Barketing Manager.
